Steps

  1. Open your form in Google Forms and click Send (or Publish, then copy the responder link).
  2. Click the link icon and copy the link. Tick "Shorten URL" if you see it: shorter links make simpler codes.
  3. Open ScanSpot, choose Link, and paste it.
  4. Download, then test with your phone before printing.

Using a new form each week?

Instead of reprinting, use an editable code and point it at the new form each time. Great for weekly sign-ups in classrooms and churches.

Questions

Can I make a QR code for a Google Form for free?

Yes. Copy the form's link, paste it into ScanSpot as a Link code and download it. No sign-up.

Why can't people open my Google Form from the QR code?

Usually the form requires sign-in or is limited to your organization, or it has stopped accepting responses. Check the form settings.

Will the QR code still work if I edit the form?

Yes. Editing questions keeps the same link. Making a brand-new form gives a new link, so you'd need a new code or an editable one.
