Free code or editable code?
Labels are expensive to reprint. If the page might change (new video, new shop address), an editable code lets you change where it goes without new labels, and see how many people scan. And unlike many QR services, ScanSpot codes keep working even if you stop paying, which matters a lot for packaging that sits on shelves for years.
Printing on small labels
- Keep the link short so the code is simpler and works smaller.
- Aim for at least 2 cm (0.8 inch) wide. Test on the real label material.
- Dark code, light background, and avoid placing it over a curve or seam.
- Use the SVG download for your label printer or designer.
