Classroom ideas
- Worksheets: a code that opens a help video or an example for that exact problem.
- Self-checking: a code at the bottom of a page that opens the answers.
- Learning stations: each station gets a code with its instructions or video.
- Reading: a code inside a book report or poster that plays a student's recorded summary.
- Parents: a code on the newsletter or open-house sign that opens the class page or a sign-up form.
- Exit tickets: a code that opens a quick form at the end of class.
Text codes work without internet
A text QR code holds the words themselves: a riddle, a hint, a vocabulary word. Phones and tablets show it right away, even with no Wi-Fi.
Tips
- Use the Frame tab to add a label like "Watch the video" so students know what they'll get.
- Print codes at least 2.5 cm (1 inch) wide on worksheets.
- Use links you control (your class site or a shared folder) so they keep working all year.
